Mission
Hablando de Filantropía (Talking about Philanthropy) was born in 2004 by an invitation of 11Q,
Cadena Nacional to promote philanthropy over the radiowaves. The radio program became a bonafide
NGO, incorporated in Puerto Rico towards the end of 2005.
The original radio program has as its' main purpose: to educate and inform about philanthropy...
from the most simple forms, to structured philanthropy. Alliances were established among the
diverse philanthropic sectors of the community, and we analized the diverse situations of the country
and promote diverse solutions.
We began to make optimum use of the new emerging social media networks and we have expanded our
scope to inform, inspire and aid other NGO's thru diverse methodologies on how to maximize thier
presence on the internet.
